Tennessee Tempo FC Academy is proud to announce the appointment of Kwadwo Poku as the new Technical Director of the soccer program. Poku, a former New York City Football Club (NYCFC) star and Ghanaian International, brings his wealth of experience to the Academy to help take the academy to new heights.
Poku has had a successful career in professional soccer, playing for various clubs in the United States. He began his career with Atlanta Silverbacks, before moving on to play for FC Tampa Bay, Miami FC, and most notably, New York City Football Club. During his time with NYCFC, Poku made 34 appearances and scored 7 goals, establishing himself as a dynamic player in the midfield.
As the new Technical Director of Tennessee Tempo FC Academy, Poku will bring his experience and knowledge to help develop the soccer program and create a positive environment for the players to learn and grow. He will oversee the academy's coaching staff, work with the players to develop their skills and strategies, and ensure that the team is competitive and successful.
